Traditionally rice and soup has been the staple meal for Koreans yet that is simply not the go to meal anymore. Many Koreans nowadays enjoy bread, yogurt, fresh fruits, and health drinks or coffee in the morning.
I like to mix up my morning meals so I eat rice and soup somedays or have a breakfast sandwich. I make sure to never skip out on fresh seasonal fruits.
Below are a bunch of actual breakfasts that Koreans enjoy. Some of these people go on extreme diets I think.
16 grain soymilk.
Brown rice, Seaweed soup, Egg Omelet, kimchi, and vegetable side dishes.
Cheese flavored ramen, spagetti ramen, and banana milk.
Seafood Porridge (juk).
Seaweed soup and wild red rice.
Grilled Makeral, white rice, fried anchovies and vegetable banchan.
Green fruit smoothie.
Spicy beef stew with white rice.
Tofu mixed vegetable salad.
All in one egg muffin and coffee.
Beef bone soup with banchan side dishes.
Fried rice cake, Korean hot cakes, sliced apples, and blueberry nut yogurt.
Toast, sliced apples, sliced persimmon, coffee and chocolate.
Wholegrain powder shake. (FACT: I hate the taste of these shakes!)
Bagel with cream cheese and iced coffee.
Ramen, fried kimchi rice, and minced beef patty.
Pretty cool post!
